You gotta check it out this set up. A full on, Kinect enabled game of Space Invaders! The Kinect data display in which the player interacts with appears to have a wall present representing the boundaries of the playing field in order to signify when the Space Invaders ship hits either the far left or right of the screen. A good idea to implement as you don't want to be waving your arm too far away from the action and in turn, ultimately allowing those pesky space people to "invade".
Simple gestures are recognized in order to move the ship left and right - extending the appropriate arm in either direction- and extending both arms simultaneously will allow you to fire.
With the amount of ships you have to destroy in any given stage of Space Invaders, I can see people getting quite the workout after all is said and done. Enjoy the video and thanks for the great work and upload Derrgis!
Here's a video showing the simultaneous kinect capture data and game play.
