HackLife87 has been hard at work incorporating a user friendly keyboard accessory to the Windows gesture control software KinEmote. He is calling it KinClick.
The premise is simple. Inspired by smart phone web browsing, a virtual keyboard will appear when you click a text field area. A feature that's currently not available on KinEmote.
"You will notice the cursor becomes a "I-Beam" and then the events "Click" which bring up the KinClick.Keyboard. This will work with ANY text field that shows the cursor as an "I-Beam" as I have linked the System Cursor to the program."

Alternative approach to type letters using Kinect can be using 3D version of 8Pen - see 3DKeyboard project http://jetensky.net/blog/2011/...
Thanks for the tip. I've added a post to the front page. Awesome work!

I am glad you like it, Jared, thanks. Currently, I am migrating the code to C#, so that suggested features can be delivered in some feasible programming language ;).
