This ultra dope kinect hack was sent in by Rajarshi Roy who managed to create some silky smooth gesture controls for games like Need For Speed and Portal for the PC. Legacy support is also included allowing you to play your favourite retro games to boot!
Be sure to check out the video to see the software and gesture recognition in action. Included as an added bonus, the source is available to try out for yourself! Gotta love it when these talented folks share their awesome work with the rest of the world.
NI Game Controller was developed using the OpenNI framework along without he OpenNI wrapper Simple OpenNI.
Download the .zip HERE and keep up to date with the latest source code at github.com/spaghetti-coder/NIGameController
