Oh shit, the interface for hackers just got a lot more natural folks. Next up after this is lawnmower man. I can sense it right around the corner. In all seriousness, this quick 1 minute teaser demo will shed a little light into an incredibly creative and ingenious way to test your own security systems for vulnerabilities using Kinect interpreted natural gestures in tandem with the Metasploit Framework.
The idea is to hack into your own systems while in a 3D, first person shooter style environment that interfaces with the Kinect sensor. The game engine was built using blender and looks to be one of the most pleasing ways of uncovering your own systems architectural/networking vulnerabilities.
Best thing is that Kinectasploit is free to download over at http://p0wnlabs.com/defcon19.
Requirements include:
• A kinect
• A working primesense/open nite environment
• blender
• jack audio server (or some relatively fast audio engine for your platform
• python 3.2
• numpy
• metasploit with a working xmlrps and database engine
We'll keep you posted with any new updates or longer video demos as they become available. Hacking with a hacked Kinect. Gotta love it!

That's quite ingenious, I never tried the slightest method of hacking, I have no clue how to cause a security breach, your suggestion makes sense. This way I get to test that new Trend Micro anti virus I got. Any other tips?
